Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you via train to the Wannsee lake. There you will change into your private boat (seats 10 comfortably) and meet your captain Udo. You will spend 3-4 hours on the boat. Depending on the weather you may want to take a dip in the water, take over the steering wheel for a while, or just sit back, take a cold drink, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The guide will stay with you the whole time as well and take you back to your hotel in the end.

Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel. Start time is usually 9:30. You will take the train to Wannsee, but of course you could also take a taxi (extra charge would apply). There your guide will take you to the private boat where Captain Udo will wait for you. Berlin has about 80 lakes, and you will see quite a few of them. This trip will give you an idea of how green Berlin really is and how much nature there is to enjoy. You will pass through the Small Wannsee, Pohlesee and Griebnitzsee, pass Tiefesee andl Heilige See, enter the Havel river and arrive back at the Great Wannsee. Some of the sights you will see: Kohlhasenbrück (which was connected to Westberlin during the time of the German division, but reachable only by bridge), Klein-Glienicke (which was situated in the West but belonged to East-Berlin and was thus heavily guarded), Babelsberg (castle built in 1833 for Wilhelm I), Glienicke Bridge (the famous "Spy Bridge"), Neue Garten in Potsdam with Meierei, Marble Palace and Cecilienhof, Sacrower Church (beautiful church from 1844 which was inaccessible from 1961-1989, surrounded by the Berlin Wall), Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island with historic castle and royal boat house), Schwanenwerder (where Hitler and Goebbels bought villas in the 30s), the Wannsee Villa (where the infamous Wannsee Conference took place in early 1942).  Your boat offers seating for 8 passengers, and your captain would be happy to let you steer for a while. You will be served cold beverages, and if the weather is nice enough, you may want to jump into the water for a swim. There is a shower on board. After your tour, your guide will take you back to your hotel via train (or via taxi, if you prefer - extra charge would apply).

Set sail into the sunset during this 1-hour, small-group cruise on a traditional sailing boat — in the middle of Hamburg. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from Alster Lake, a tributary of the Elbe River. Sail past green parks, historic landmarks and see some of the biggest churches in Hamburg, plus the town hall, the Alster fountain and the new concert hall "Elbphilharmonie" in the distance. Relax and enjoy a refreshing beverage on board as the sun sets over the horizon before returning to dock.

Come aboard this classic sailing boat and enjoy Hamburg like a local as you set off for a sunset cruise — right in the heart of the city. Arrive at the pier shortly before sunset (times vary per season), then relax and feel the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair during this hourlong sail around Lake Alster. No sailing experience is required, but you can give a hand to the skipper if you like: trim the sails, take over the rudder, or steer the course.

Sip an included beverage (beer, bubbles, or a soft drink) and chat with your small group of maximum 11 passengers as you sail past green parks, historic buildings, Hamburg's biggest churches, and its modern concert hall. Admire the sun going down over the city skyline before returning to dock and bidding your captain farewell.

Ride in the Koblenz cable car, visit Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and enjoy a River Rhine cruise – all in one day! Take a cable car ride to the fortress either before or after your cruise, and then see the sights of the UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge as you cruise from Koblenz to Boppard. Spend time at leisure in the pretty Rhine Valley town, and return to Koblenz at a time that suits you.

Your River Rhine cruise includes a round-trip Koblenz cable car ticket with entrance fee to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. When you use your ticket is up to you; ride in the cable car and visit the attraction either before or after your cruise.

Simply step inside the cable car -- the longest in Europe outside of the Alps -- and ascend to a height of 2,789 feet (850 meters), admiring views over the UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge below. Head inside the magnificent fortress to explore at leisure, learning about its past as a strategic defense building during the Napoleonic wars and World War I.

At a time that suits your schedule, hop aboard your sightseeing boat at Koblenz riverside, and then take a seat outside on deck or indoors in the spacious saloon. Then, cruise south along the Rhine River toward the town of Boppard, along a stretch of the water known as the Rhine Valley or Middle Rhine. Listen to audio commentary about the UNESCO-listed area, hearing fun facts about the famous river’s geology, history and sights. Your journey takes roughly two hours, and the route passes nearly 30 castles, fortresses and ruins as well as vineyards and pretty half-timbered villages.

Pass Kurtrierische Burg, one of the region’s more imposing castles, and then dock at Boppard’s main pier. Perhaps visit Karmeliterkirche, a Gothic church on the riverside, or explore Bodobrica – an old Roman garrison with more than 20 defensive towers. The town lies in the heart of the Rhine Valley wine region, so the nearby wineries are well worth a visit, too. All entrance fees, activities and meals in town are at your own expense. Boats returning to Koblenz leave at different times throughout the day, so you can spend as long as you like in Boppard. The cruise back lasts roughly 1.5 hours.
